victory lane for the first time in the young 2016 racing season
on Friday night, April 15 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City,

Mike Spatola III Enters
Illini 100 Weekend at Farmer City Raceway
4, 2016) Spatola Racing ventured to Farmer City
Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on April 2-3 to compete in the
annual running of the 'Illini 100,' which was sanctioned by the
World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. The two-day spectacular
started on Saturday night with a $6,000 to win shootout at the
1/4-mile fairgrounds bullring. Mike Spatola III wound up fourth
in his heat race, but ran into problems in his B-Main to finish
fifteenth, which unfortunately kept him out of the 25-lap main
event. Mike also missed out on Sunday's $15,000 to win feature
event after running seventh in his loaded heat race before scratching
from his B-Main. Full results from the disappointing 'Illini 100'
